Patricia A. Thomasson

 Patricia A. Thomasson, 82, of Cavalier, ND passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, ND. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  at the Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier, ND.
     Patricia Ann Mazanec was born June 29. 1941 in St Louis, Missouri to Willam and Dorothy (Ball) Mazanec. She grew up in St. Louis and graduated from DeAndreis High School. On April 28, 1962, she married Jack Thomasson in St. Louis. After their marriage they lived in St. Louis, Mountain and Cavalier, ND. Pat worked at the First State Bank in Cavalier, Borg Memorial Home in Mountain, ND and O.C. Schulz Farms, Crystal, ND. 
     She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, visiting, volunteering and making afghan blankets for new residents at the Wedgwood Manor.  
     Patricia is survived by her children: Barbara (Bradley) Byron, Minneapolis, MN, Jeffrey Thomasson, Hallock, MN, Douglas Thomasson, Warroad, MN, grandchildren: Brittany (Trevin) Cervenka,  Brady Byron, Nicole (Tyler)Manecke, Kayla Thomasson, Trysha Thomasson and Sean Thomasson, great-grandchildren: August, Addison, Leal, Harley, and Landon. Also surviving are her siblings: Carol (Bob) Buhs, David (Alice) Mazanec and Mary Mazanec.
     Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Jack, son, John H.E., granddaughter, Ashley Harder, brother, John.
