Joyce A. Gerszewski

Joyce A. Gerszewski, age 77 of Minto, ND passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton, ND.
Joyce A. Maszk was born November 24, 1942 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Daniel and Irene (Kowalski) Maszk. She attended school in Minto, ND. Following her education she was united in marriage to Michael Gerszewski on July 25, 1960 in Minto, ND. The couple made their home in Minto. Joyce owned and operated Jo Jo’s Day Care in Minto and worked with her husband at the school in Minto, retiring in May of 2019.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society and the Minto American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time in her flower gardens. Joyce loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Michael, Minto, ND; her children: Scott (Marilyn) Gerszewski, Curtis (Sandy) Gerszewski and Michele (Mark) Spale, all of Minto, ND; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and half-brothers: Dale Maszk, Paul Maszk and Brian (Mary) Maszk all of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto, ND. Visitation will be Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
