Ava M Hiltner

Ava M. Hiltner, 61, of Drayton, ND, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brooks Funeral Home, Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held for one hour before the time of the service. Burial will be held in the Union Cemetery, Osnabrock, ND.
Ava was born November 11, 1958, in Cavalier, ND, to Clarence and Florence (Lajimoidinere) Denault. She grew up in various places and spent her summers in Langdon, ND. Ava graduated from high school in New York. On July 2, 1977, Ava married Gene Hiltner in Langdon, ND. She worked for various business’ in the area, and most recently worked for Friendship in Grafton as a caregiver.
Some of the things she enjoyed were ceramics, sewing, and spending time with family.
Ava is survived by her husband, Gene; daughter, Cynthia Hiltner, Grafton, ND; son, Aaron Hiltner, Forest River, ND; grandchildren: Acaydia, Kadyn, Emily, Leo, and Felix; sibings: Ellen Burks, Rose Denault, Wesley (Linda) Denault, and Nora (Brad) Schoenberg; sisters-in-law: Ardy Denault and Dorothy Denault; brother-in-law, Dennis Mikkelsen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Joe Denault, John (June) Denault, Clair Denault, Dora Johnson, Odell Grimm, Adrian (JoAnn) Denault, Theresa Brown, Geraldine Ridley, and Olivene Mikkelsen.
