Amber Leigh (Johnson) Redmann, 36, of Drayton, ND passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at her home. Amber was born on November 4, 1982 in Grand Forks, ND, the precious first-born child to Lon and Cindy (Mattson) Johnson. She attended Drayton Public School and graduated in 2001. She continued her education at North Dakota State School of Science with a Dental Assistant degree. Amber worked as a dental assistant for a short time, but her true calling was assisting the residents, as a CNA, at Eventide in Fargo, ND and at the Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton, ND. She loved the elderly and had a passion for helping them. Amber was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Drayton, where she was baptized and confirmed her faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. As a young girl, Amber used her beautiful voice to sing His praises at many bridal showers, her own Confirmation, weddings, funerals, and many family gatherings. Amber married Troy Redmann on July 11, 2009 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. They lived in Henderson, NV and Fargo. To this union of seven years, their little star Stella Mae was born. Amber’s pride and joy was her best friend, Stella. She worked from home on handmade tutus and other items, along with being a successful distributor of Juice Plus+, Jamberry Nails, and selling embossed cups and clothing. Amber was a jack of all trades and loved to work every fall on the Johnson Family Farms, driving truck and roto-beater in the sugar beet harvest. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, antiquing, traveling and music, especially the Beatles. Amber is survived by her daughter Stella Redmann, her parents, her sister Brittany (Robert) Mahar of Cavalier, ND, her brother Blake (Becky) Johnson and niece Julie of Drayton, ND, her grandmothers Harriet Johnson of Grafton, ND, and Ruth Mattson of Grand Forks, ND, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Amber was preceded in death ten years to the day by her grandfather Harris Johnson and just four days prior by her grandfather James Mattson. May all know that in her life she loved you more! Amber’s favorite Bible verse was Psalm 121: 1-2…I lift up my eyes to the hills---where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church at 1710 Cherry Street, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
