Patricia J. Meberg

Patricia J. Meberg, age 78 of Park River, ND, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.
Paticia Houle was born September 6, 1946 in Leroy, ND, the daughter of the late Daniel and Julia (Bartlette) Houle.  She grew up and attended school in Leroy and later Walhalla, ND, graduating from Walhalla High School.  Following high school she attended business college and lived in St. Paul, MN for a short time.  She returned to Grand Forks, ND and was later united in marriage to Eric “Ike” Meberg.  The couple made their home in Park River, ND where she worked at First United Bank.
She enjoyed reading, spending time with her friends and son Greg and travelling to places such as England, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and many places within the United States.
She is survived by her son Greg Lang, Grand Forks, ND, daughter Stephanie Lang, MN, and sister Betty (Fred) Goulart, Pawtucket, RI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ike, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Park River.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the First Care Health Center of Park River or the Park River Volunteer Ambulance.
