Kevin Basher

Kevin Basher, age 63 of Grafton, ND, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at his home in Grafton.
Kevin was born September 30, 1962 in Fargo, ND, the son of the late Kenneth and Delores (Erbstoesser) Basher. The family moved in Grafton in 1966 where Kevin attended school, graduating from Grafton High School. He enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard, serving from 1979-1988. He worked as a foreman at Tri-Campbell Farms for many years and later worked for Yardman Lawn Care. He started Basher Lawn Care which he ran until his passing.
He is survived by his son Nicholas Basher, KS; daughter Dakotah Basher, Grafton, ND; step-daughter Arlene Storey, Brigham City, UT; grandchildren Jackson and Mackenzie Basher; siblings: Karen (John) Kramer, Bay City, MI, Mechelle (Andy) Komanetz, Grafton, ND, and Melanie (John) Mients, Detroit, MI; sister-in-law Karen Basher, Baudette, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Kenneth M. Basher and Danny Basher; sister Cheryl Green; and 3 nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 2-4 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Military rites will be provided by the Grafton American Legions Post #41 and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Kevin Basher Memorial Fund, c/o Karen Kramer for a trust to be set up in Dakotah’s name.
