Joseph F Campbell

Joseph F. Campbell, age 71 of Warsaw, ND passed away of natural causes on Friday, June 5, 2020 at his home in Warsaw, ND.


Joe was born July 4, 1948 in Grafton, ND the son of Shanley Campbell and Ruth Shoults-Gornowich. He was a graduate of Minto High School and attended Mayville State University. Joe worked as a truck driver most of his adult life and had driven in all 50 states. He flew to Hawaii just so he could drive there and accomplish this feat.


Joe enjoyed fishing, watching sports on TV, watching the History channel and listening to all types of music. He enjoyed playing cards and competing in the family football pool.


Joe is survived by his siblings: Marge (Warren) McFall, Bill (Diane) Campbell, Peg (Roger) Shaver, Beth (Lory) Bylin, and Dan Shoults. Joe is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Barb Campbell and Lisa Shoults. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brothers: Jim Campbell, Bob Campbell and Paul Shoults.


Memorial services will be Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND. A luncheon will be served at the Minto Community Center following the interment.
