Doris Jean Rudnik

Doris Jean Rudnik, age 65 of Park River, ND passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Park River Good Samaritan Center.
Doris Jean Rudnik was born May 30, 1954 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of the late Roman J. and Dorothy A. (Czapiewski) Rudnik.  She lived with her parents and attended school in Minto through fourth grade.  In 1989, Doris attended vocational services at Friendship and in 2005, she moved to residential services in Grafton.  In 2016, she moved to a group home in Park River.  In 2018 she moved to the Park River Good Samaritan Center.  She owned and operated Doris’ Gourmet Beans until her health forced her to retire.
She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  She loved visiting with family and friends, puzzles, playing cards and country music.  She enjoyed her family and “buddies” at the Good Samaritan Center.
Doris is survived by her sister, Betty Novak, St. Thomas, ND; one nephew and one niece and one great niece and one great nephew.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Cecil Novak.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Grafton, ND.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND.
