Deanne M. Pilon, age 58 of Grafton, ND passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. Deanne M. Jadeke was born October 31, 1961 in Warren, MN the daughter of Edward and Marguerite (Troska) Jadeke. She grew up and attended school in Warren, MN. She attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND where she received her LPN degree. She attended the St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Fargo and received her RN degree. She worked in Crookston, MN and Rugby, ND. Deanne was united in marriage to Brian Pilon on October 28, 1989 in Warren, MN. The couple lived and farmed near Grafton, ND. They later moved into Grafton and Deanne worked as a RN at Unity Hospital until her health forced her to retire. In July of 2017 she moved into the Lutheran Sunset Home. Brian passed away in August of 2017. Deanne was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her children: Tyler and Kayla, both of Drayton, ND; her mother, Marguerite Jadeke, Thief River Falls, MN; siblings: Debra Forbes, Richmond, VA; Denise (Jody) Gundvangen, Fertile, MN; David (Brenda) Jadeke, Warren, MN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, husband, Brian, sister, Donna Jadeke and brother-in-law, Mike Forbes. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
