Daniel L. Siewert, age 60 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly St. Thomas, ND passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Sanford Health Center of Fargo. Daniel was born January 1, 1959 in Grafton, ND the son of Wayne Siewert and Donna Dusterhoft Siewert. He was raised and attended school in St. Thomas, ND. He graduated from St. Thomas High School. Daniel then began his career as a carpenter. Daniel loved carpentry and was a very talented woodworker. He loved western movies and listening to classic rock and country music. He moved to Dallas, TX, where he and his then wife (the late Darlene Jelinek) had two children. He also loved target shooting, country drives, banana milkshakes, and making people laugh. He was so resourceful and had a solution to almost anything that needed to be fixed. Daniel is survived by his children: Shawna (Peter) Siewert Zellmann, West Fargo, ND, Danson Siewert, Grand Forks, ND; grandson: Ethan Siewert (Heiden), West Fargo, ND; mother: Donna Siewert, St. Thomas, ND; siblings: Denise (Dennis) Sevigny, Grafton, ND; Diane (Paul) Schuster, Manvel, ND, Dennis Siewert, Fargo, ND, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Wayne Siewert, and brothers: David Siewert, and his twin, Douglas Siewert. Memorial Services will be Monday, July 29, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of rural St. Thomas, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural St. Thomas, ND.
