Arnola G. Evje-Skorheim

​Arnola G. Evje-Skorheim, age 85 of Park River, ND, passed away on May 16, 2019 at her home.
Arnola was born September 24, 1933 in Adams, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Syvert and Greta (Jacobson) Bjorg.  She graduated from Adams School in 1951.  Arnola attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN for two years.  She worked for the Saint Paul Insurance Company in Fargo, ND.  Arnola married Jack Evje April 23, 1955 in Adams, ND.  Arnola and Jack made their home in Fargo for 34 years.  After Jack died, Arnola worked for the J.C. Penney Company.  In December 1993, Arnola married Dennis Skorheim and they made their home in Park River, ND. 
She was a member of Chapter Q PEO, Adams American Legion Auxiliary, Adams Kraft Klub, Republican Women, Red Hat Society, and Hoff Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Bruce (Susan) Evje, Cranston, RI; Brent Evje, Fairdale, ND: grandchildren: Brendan, Eric, and Kelsy Evje; Dennis’ children: Denny, Denise, Mary, Rita, Deb and their families; sister-in-law: Ardyce Holte, Halstad, MN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Jack Evje and Dennis Skorheim, and sister, Janyce Haugen.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mountain Lutheran Church, Adams, ND.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5-7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River.  Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be Thursday, May 23 at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
