Arline Delna Larson

Arline Delna Larson, age 91 of Adams, ND passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2019 at the Park River Good Samaritan Center.

Arline Delna was born August 13, 1928 in Adams ND the daughter of Melvin and Olga (Bolstad) Hilde. She graduated from Adams High School and Moorhead State College. She taught first and second grade in Bisbee, ND until marrying Dennis Larson in 1951. They farmed in Bisbee before moving to Adams and taking over the Hilde farm until 1996. Arline taught Title 1 and subbed in Adams for several years.

Arline was a member of Adams Mountain Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Adams Kraft Club and Walsh Quilters. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and playing cards with her grandchildren.

Arline is survived by her husband Dennis of 68 years, her children: Sharon (Ray) Callaghan, Fargo, ND; Merle (Joan) Larson, Adams, ND; Lona Lindgren, Sperry, OK, Avis Larson, Eden Prairie, MN; nine grandchildren: Megan, Brady and Casey Callaghan, Amanda Goll, Elizabeth Jacobs, Cole Larson, Kyle and Brendan Lindgren, Roxanne Boyce and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin infant sisters and son-in-law, Rory Lindgren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at West Adams Cemetery in the spring.
