Arlene M. Lykken

Arlene Lykken, 88 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Essentia Health in Fargo.
Arlene was born March 3, 1937 to Joe and Mary (Grezkowiak) Lizakowski in Minto, ND. She received her education in Minto. Arlene worked many jobs in her life including CNA and cook. One of her greatest talents was her outstanding cooking and baking skills. She was famous for her homemade apple pies.
She had five children and worked hard to provide for them. She had a great number of friends who she cared for and they adored her as well.
Arlene retired in 2003 when her health started to decline, but remained active in getting together with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters: Sheri (Mark) Fontaine, Aneta, ND; Cindy Hewitt, Stacy, MN; Lisa Delorme (Don Neisen), Cambridge, MN; Delene (Todd) Potulny, Fargo, ND; her son, Blaine (Kristen) Peterson, Grafton, ND; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and sisters: Joyce Zeller, Fargo, ND and Shirley (Jim) Plante, Grafton, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Arnold Lizakowski and Midge Lizakowski and great granddaughter, Avery Pietron.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11;00 AM at the Grafton Lutheran Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Minto, ND.
