![]() Angeline M. Pic, age 88 of Park River, ND passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the First Care Health Center, with family by her side. Angeline M. Miller was born July 28, 1936 to the late Frank E. and Mary (Pesek) Miller in rural Lawton, ND. She was raised and attended school in the Lawton area. Angeline’s mother passed away when she was 12 years old, which began her life long role as nurturer, caretaker, and mother. She was united in marriage on January 18, 1955 to George J. Pic at Brocket, ND. The couple made their home in Park River for five years, before moving to the farm in Shephard township. Angeline helped her husband on the farm, ran for parts, delivered meals to the fields, tended her garden, and raised her beloved children. She lived there until 2023, when she moved to the Good Samaritan Assisted Living Apartments in Park River, where she made so many great friends and cherished their companionship. Angeline raised 10 children. She loved being a mother and all that came with it. She was an incredible cook and loved to bake. Her most requested treat were her donuts. Holidays were incredibly special to her, most of all Christmas. All the preparation and decorating, but don’t forget the Hallmark Christmas movies to get you in the spirit of the season! Angeline and George frequented many auction sales and implements. She enjoyed the countryside drives and listening to “Old Time Polka” and classic country music. Angeline loved her family dearly and cherished their time together, whether mini vacations, card playing, or a trip to the Dairy Queen. She always put her family first, you would often hear her asking, “Are You Hungry?”, however, don’t interrupt Gunsmoke! Angeline is survived by her children: Glenn (Cheryl) of Florida, Duane (Marlys), Park River, ND, David (Debbie), Larimore, ND, Bill (Vicki), Lankin, ND, Diane (Larry) Kalash, Grand Forks, ND, Cindy (Danny) Odden, Maddock, ND, Mary (Steve) Hall, Watertown, SD, Gary (Renae), Lawton, ND, Joyce (Pete) Kelly, Park River, ND, Roger (Julia), Warner, SD; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; special nephew Robert (Carol) Kubat, Park River, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
